Privacy Policy

This policy is a transparency document, not a claim of SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS certification.

1. Introduction

FaithTunes operates a worship operations and talent marketplace platform for churches, musicians, worship leaders, and ministry teams. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect information when you use the FaithTunes website and application.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated through platform use, and limited information from trusted processors.

  • Account identity such as name, email, role, profile details, and authentication metadata.
  • Profile, portfolio, availability, booking, messaging, review, setlist, worship project, and rehearsal data.
  • Uploaded media, audio, generated stems, charts, lyrics, PDFs, contracts, and support attachments where used.
  • Payment and subscription metadata handled through Stripe-powered flows; FaithTunes does not need to directly handle raw card numbers.
  • Operational data such as audit logs, admin actions, telemetry, device/browser metadata, and security events.

3. How We Use Information

  • Provide marketplace profiles, jobs, bookings, messages, setlists, worship tools, rehearsals, payments, and support workflows.
  • Authenticate accounts, restore sessions, deliver notifications, investigate support issues, and protect the platform.
  • Maintain audit-log supported operations, backup verification foundations, and compliance-readiness evidence.
  • Improve product quality, reliability, and safety without making formal compliance certification claims unless externally audited.

4. How We Share Information

  • Public profile fields are visible on public or marketplace profile pages when published.
  • Booking, setlist, rehearsal, and message details may be visible to invited collaborators or counterparties.
  • Trusted vendors may process data for hosting, storage, email, payments, authentication, analytics, media processing, and support.
  • Information may be disclosed when required for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, dispute, or security reasons.

5. Storage, Retention, and Deletion

FaithTunes stores application data in the production database, object storage, identity systems, operational logs, backups, and configured third-party processors. Retention depends on account status, legal requirements, financial records, safety needs, and backup windows.

  • Profile and account data generally stays active while the account remains active.
  • Booking, payment, tax, audit, and dispute evidence may be retained longer for legal or operational reasons.
  • Eligible uploaded media, generated artifacts, failed temporary files, and stale job outputs should be purged according to the retention map and deletion workflow.

6. Your Choices and Data Rights

  • You can update profile information through account/profile pages where available.
  • You can opt out of marketing emails through unsubscribe links or the unsubscribe page.
  • You may request access, correction, export, or deletion by contacting privacy@faithtunes.app.
  • Deletion may preserve limited audit, legal, payment, fraud, safety, or backup exception records where required.

7. Security

FaithTunes is built with access control, audit evidence, backup verification foundations, and security/privacy controls under active development. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but FaithTunes uses reasonable controls to reduce risk.
